We have received manufacturer documentation indicating that a lavatory faucet spec'd for one of our projects is WaterSense labelled however, this product is not listed within the EPA's Product List or Search Tool. Wondering if anyone else has come across this? Is the EPA's inventory automatically updated as products are labelled?

I'm inclined to believe that if you have the backup documentation showing the label, that should be sufficient. I don't always trust the government websites to be up-to-date with everything, especially since they're subject to shutdowns and getting behind in updates.

I've encountered this. In my case, when I downloaded the Excel of all certified products I was able to locate it but it turns out the product was unlisted as it didn't meet the latest WaterSense criteria. I'm currently trying to determine if having a certification at time the LEED standard was created would suffice, even if it doesn't meet the latest criteria.

The product needs to have an "active" certification at the time of purchase. So, I'd suggest asking the manufacturer to ensure they are providing you the current product data sheet for the product. The Excel is supposed to be updated regularly, but it's unclear how well that has been going over the last few years.
