Water Teatment Plant

Option 2 of this credit requieres to treat 50% of wastewater on-site to tertiary standards. The definition of tertiary standards indicates "generally to efluent limits of 10mg/l (BOD) 5 and 10 mg/l (TSS)". Our question is, are these (BOD and TSS) values mandatory, and/or only a suggestion, because the RG does not read "must have" The water trestment plant provider is giving the owner values of 20mg/l (BOD) and 20 mg/l (TSS), indicating that LEED does not have written as mandatory to comply with 10mg/l.
