My ice maker was not making ice. Despite turning it off, water still flowed into my freezer causing a mess. I have since pulled the whole out hoping the fridge would recognize there was no maker at all. This did not work. I just want water to stop flowing into my freezer. I could give two shits about actually making ice. Please help!
Is there a cutoff switch I should look for? A waterflow pipe that needs to be disconnected? I just can't seem to find an answer online as all they want me to do is buy a new ice maker.
