The Water Reduction Calculator in the LEED v4_Homes and Multifamily Workbook only addresses the fixtures in units. How do we calculate the water consumption for any non-residential space in a mixed use project?

Mugdha,
For non-unit fixtures, the project has two options:
1. Do not include the fixtures in the calculations as long as the fixtures meet or exceed the performance of the in-unit fixtures.
2. Include the fixtures in the calculations and use baselines for the fixtures for the non-unit spaces from the NC prerequisite, Indoor Water Use Reduction: https://www.usgbc.org/node/1734960?return=/credits.
For Option 2, determine the occupancy for the non-unit spaces following NC guidance (Getting Started, Occupancy) and use the Default Uses per day called out in the NC v4 Ref Guide (Table 8) in the prerequisite noted above. Once the uses per day have been determined, convert that occupancy per unit and add that as the appropriate number of one-bedroom apartments (Non-Residential spaces).
