Background:- The building is part of a planned township and the township is maintained by municipality. Municipality also supplies potable water to the building through metered connection. During construction of the building some years back, as recommended by the state government/municipality, no STP was constructed within the building site. All the wastewater is being discharged into sewers connected to a central township level STP maintained by the municipality. The treated water is then used by municipality for irrigation of plants and parks within its jurisdiction. Question:- Can the building claim credit for water efficiency by subtracting the amount of wastewater discharged into sewer from the amount of metered potable water used? Would there be any additional documentation requirement? Regards, Kumar
