Are the anticipated diversion rates that need to be included in the waste management plan the overall diversion rate (e.g., 80% diverted) or per waste stream (e.g., 20% steel, 12% drywall, etc.)? It's not clear from the credit language or in the reference gudie and the form states:
Upload: Construction and demolition waste management plan
Provide the construction and demolition waste management plan. The plan must outline at least five materials targeted for diversion, provide the anticipated percentage of total waste that these materials represent, and include on-site diversion strategies. If on-site diversion strategies are not available, explain why.

Chris - Step 3 under Draft Construction Waste Management Plan in the LEED Reference Guide states: "The plan must include an overall project waste diversion goal..." In addition, per MRp2 requirements, the plan is also supposed to "Establish waste diversion goals for the project by identifying at least five materials (both structural and nonstructural) targeted for diversion. Approximate a percentage of the overall project waste that these materials represent."
So say your goal is to divert 50% of the overall waste from the landfill [overall project waste goal] for the five material streams: ferrous metals, cardboard, wood, copper wire, and masonry, which represent 80% of the overall project waste [percentage of total waste these streams represent]. (This 80% is going to be an educated guess at best (IMHO) because you are not sure what your waste materials are going to be at the beginning of a job. In this hypothetical example, drywall recycling is not available locally, and because of that, I am assuming there will be a lot of waste that cannot be captured from the overall project waste. You can update your plan to revise the 80% before you submit this construction credit based on your final tally.)
