FAQs about MRc2 :

How is construction waste accounted for when utilizing off-site construction, like modular construction or pre-fabrication of assemblies?

Volume to Weight Conversion factors

Hi All,

Are there any references for LEED approved Volume to Weight conversion factors? I've looked up online and on LEED user but haven't come across anything which I could use to substantiate the conversations.

Yohaan - The LEED 2009 Reference Guide contains a solid waste conversion factor table.  See this discussed at https://leeduser.buildinggreen.com/forum/documenting-diversion-quantities, https://leeduser.buildinggreen.com/forum/volume-weight-conversions, and https://leeduser.buildinggreen.com/forum/weigh-or-not-weigh. As a LEEDuser Basic Member, I don't think you can access the FAQs for this credit - https://leeduser.buildinggreen.com/credit/NC-2009/MRc2#tab-faq where this is discussed also.
