Our team is working on a project which follows a vertically attached approach. A C&S building is sitting on top of a retail building, each with separate entrance, energy metering, management, etc.
Both buildings share underground parking space.
Is there a way in which energy savings from the parking space may be considered towards energy efficiency of the C&S building?
The parking space has been considered as a separate building, since it is separated from the C&S building by the retail space.

It all depends on the project's LEED project boundary. See MPR 2 - http://www.usgbc.org/node/2742911?return=/credits/new-construction/v4/mi... - if you can justify the project boundary and it includes some of the parking you can could savings from it.
