Hi,
I am working on a hospital project with a vast amount of different space types. Table 6.1 found in the ASHRAE standard lists very few of the “Occupancy Categories” that we have in our building. Table E-1, p.34, lists requirements for Healthcare Facilities, but we do not want to follow these since;
a) They are not compliant with the client requirements
b) it is not included for the requirements of this prereq.
Does anyone have experience of these calculations for a hospital project and possible compliance paths?
Thanks! /Veronika

Veronika, in the United States, we typically follow ASHRAE Standard 170, Ventilation of Healthcare Facilities. We have successfully submitted ventilation calculations using this standard for several healthcare projects. Where is your hospital project located?
