ventilation in Walk-in Coolers

Hello, is ventilation in Walk-in Cooler necessary for the prerequisite? Does the request depend on the indoor setpoint temperature?

If ventilation is necessary, do you have any suggestion relative to the technology that shall be used, please?

Best Regards

Hello, ventilation in Walk-in Coolers is uncommon in Italy. Do you have any suggestion about the technology that could be used? Are there specific Heat Recovery Ventilators used for air treatment for Walk-in Coolers?  Best Regards

I am not aware of a country where it is common to ventilate walk-in coolers or steam rooms or saunas. Yet, per the LEED language non-regularly occupied spaces require ventilation. Not aware of ventilation system that are designed to serve the room types listed above.  Perhaps connect with GBCI directly to discuss potential outside the "non-regularly occupied" box solutions.
