NC-2009 EAp2: Minimum Energy Performance
Hi,
We are designing a building for tropical climate condition and thinking of having natural ventilation and mechanical ventilation only. i.e. no mechanical or natural condition systems such as A/C are available.
Are there any barriers to obtain the certification under these circumstances? Any guidance available for this situation?

A portion of our building envelope is historic. Can we exclude it from our model?

You should be able to do it.
You will obviously need to generate sufficient energy savings from the remaining building systems.
