Hi
In our project we are trying to achieve this credit via the option of a vegetated roof. However, the depth of the growing medium will be less than 6 inches. Did we still can can obtain credit SS 5.1 and 7.2, if our green roof will be extensive with six or more varieties of sedums or other plants?
Thanks for any advice.

The LEED Reference Guide defines vegetated roofs as "a layered system that consists of vegetation, growing medium, filter fabric, drainage, and a waterproofing membrane atop a conventional roof." LEED does not differentiate between extensive and intensive vegetated roof systems for the purposes of this credit.
