Dear All,
Our project has a signed agreement with a nearby university, valid until June 2013. It is a yearly agreement that has been, so far, renewed once expired.
Does LEED require a minimum validity for this agreement? I.e, if we're submitting the Final Construction Review in March 2013, and the agreement is valid until June 2013, would that suffice?
Thanks!

Omar, I'm not aware of any duration-related requirements that are required or have been requested for this credit.

I know this is an older post but wanted to log in an official USGBC answer from our project.
"The project team is asking if there is a required duration for the joint use agreement/ contract and if there is a minimum number of daily or weekly hours that access must be provided.
No, there is not a minimum length of time required for the agreement/contract nor is there a minimum number of hours that access must be provided. However, it is suggested that the project team take into consideration that the intent of the credit is to make the school a more integrated part of the community and that providing access for a very limited amount of time does not necessarily meet that intent."
