This prerequisite has always had 3 compliance paths - photos, inspection reports or a maintenance narrative. The v6 form for this prerequisite apparently only has two compliance paths - photos or inspection reports.
In the past, we've always been subject to the requirements and addenda, etc. that are in place at the time of our project registration. How does this work now?
Many requirements are only spelled out on forms. So if my project has a v6 SSpr1 form, does that mean I no longer can use narrative compliance? Or does that mean the form is wrong? And how would I know the difference?

Forms are tricky. You get whichever version of the form is most-current at the time of ATTEMPTING the credit (not based on project registration). As such, if you wait to attempt your credits, you'll potentially be stuck with updated forms and new documentation requirements. For that reason, I always recommend attempting every credit right when the project is registered (as you can always withdraw/request updated forms later).
In terms of whether you can still use older compliance paths - that I don't know. I would expect you will be held to the requirements on your specific form (as I have had that happen to me in the past with other form updates).

Hi Kristina,
Thanks for the prompt response. Attempting everything is a good common sense suggestion to prevent this wholesale upgrading, though a bit time consuming. I'll query reviewers directly on how the requirements we are subject to are now determined, and will post what I hear.

Hi all,
FYI, reviewer response is that the loss of the compliance path is an error on the v6 form. The narrative compliance path is still available.
