The form for MRc4 (v06) does not reference the requirement to upload 20% of cut sheets by cost and the Materials and Resources calculator (v08) lists documentation URL as "optional." Has the requirement to upload 20% of cut sheets by cost changed?

The USGBC has admitted that items like the calculators (water and matls) have been released and caused some confusion amongst users. When the MR credit templates moved to version 6 (someone check me here)...is when the credit itself removed the note indicating that 20% of back ups should be uploaded. I've submitted a number of projects since the change, without any back up data uploaded and they've been accepted. Now, the reviewers have the right to ask for any or all if they believe the info is mistaken, so just keep that in mind. And if you are actually asking if we've gone backwards from template v06, I've heard nothing that would indicate that we need to begin uploading 20% back ups again. Hope this helps!

The issue I now see is that the Material Resource credit form for my project on LEED Online is still asking for 20% of cutsheets to be provided and has a place for them to be uploaded. The cutsheets do not need to be provided here and can just be left blank since the Material & Resource Calculator being used for the project does not ask if cutsheets have been provided?

Ralph, the version of the template in each project can vary based on what was newest when either the project was registered, and when the credit was initially marked as "Attempted". If you have an older version of the form and wish to utilize the newest one instead, I believe this is an option (you can download it from the USGBC Credit Library); however, if you want to be certain before counting on this, you can contact GBCI and inquire to get an official response: http://www.gbci.org/contact
I feel like I remember seeing somewhere that if you want to use the newest version of one credit, that you would need to use the newest of all credits, but I couldn't pinpoint where that came up, or if it's true.

Ralph, correct that the current credit requirements (which do not ask for 20% cutsheets) apply and not the outdated form. As Emily mentions, you can download the newest form and upload it to LEED Online, but it's not necessary.
I've run into a couple project lately where the commissioning forms are older versions asking for Owner signatures, which is no longer a requirement - so I added a note in the "special circumstances" box saying that because the current version of the form does not ask for the signature, I am not providing it. That wasn't questioned in the review so you might do the same for the materials credit form.
