Has anyone acutally used LEED User "LEED Materials Calculator" for uploading to leedonline for MR credits 4-7 in lieu of transferring the data to the BDC Material Rescourse Calculator?

I did this years ago for a LEED NC v2.1 project and another LEED CI v2.0 project and the reviewers accepted the separate master spreadsheet in lieu of the online forms (templates).
I was just getting ready to translate the master excel worksheet over to the LEED Online forms today for a current project when I thought - this is crazy stupid busy work that is costing time and money and is not making the project any greener!
So I am going to attempt to submit the master excel spreadsheet we have already worked with for MR credits 4,5 and 7 and post the total at the first line of the form, reference the spreadsheet and upload it with the cuts.
We are submitting by the end of the month, I'll let you all know what they say.

Any updates to whether or not the materials calculator upload was acceptable?

Yes, the reviewers accepted a master spreadsheet format for the MR credits with a summary line on the LEED Online forms.
I recommend this as it is the most logical way for consultants and contractors to record the credits and any last minute change orders, or even corrections during review can be added in one place. It also offers a snapshot picture of all the material credits so it's more useful as an evaluation tool with the first cost estimates of a project when some product specifications might still be able to be changed to achieve the credits.
