My factory project doesn't use regular Cooling towers, they use Dry coolers (dry cooling towers), which don't use water at all. Can we claim to achieve this credit by no using make-up water? thanks for your insight.

Hi Michael,
No cannot, as stated in LEED guide, “Only projects served by cooling towers or evaporative condensers are eligible for this credit.” (Page 307). Which the cooling tower is define as an equipment removes heat in part by evaporating water, as the water absorbs heat, it changes from a liquid to a vapor.
And dry cooling tower is under the no cooling tower as long as meet the requirements (alternative compliance path). Please kindly refers to link below for further info.
