NC-v4 EQp1:Minimum indoor air quality performance

Using ASHRAE 62.1-2019 and beyond...

LEED Interpretation 10416 allows projects to use later versions of ASHRAE 62.1, such as 2019 and 2022.  Starting in 2019, there is a Simplified Procedure for calculating System Ventilation Efficiency (Ev).  However, the current version of the LEED calculator (v2009v4v4 1_Minimum_IAQ_Performance_Calculator_v05.xlsm) doesn't support this, as it only uses 62.1-2010 for v4 projects or 62.1-2016 for v4.1 projects.  Should I provide my own spreadsheet if I want to use a different version of 62.1?

Hi Mark, There are 3 options to calculate the Ev: 1.Appendix A, 2.Table 6-3 3. Other (specify) Select "Other" and enter your Ev manually. You may explain that you calculated Ex following ASRHAE 62.1 2019 or 2022 in the Special Cisrcumnstances box.
