Hi all,
we would know if it's possible to use the condensate water from air-treatment in HVAC systems for irrigation to meet the intent of WE c1.
Do you know it?
Thanks.

RefGuide, p 183 states "using groundwater that must be pumped away from the building's basement or foundation to irrigate the landscape is an innovative way to achive this credit. ... Additionally, Option 2, No Potable Water Use or Irrigation, can be met when landscape irrigation is provided by raw water that would be otherwise be treated specifically for non potable uses".
Also see Interpretation li-2390 - it allows to use HVAC condensate, it is for "For Homes 2008", but I think it's logical to suppose that it would also reasonable to use same logic at 2009 version. To be 100 % sure - submit a CIR.
So I suppose that your strategy could work, but also consider the requirement that captured by this way water meets all the required tresholds on average monthly and annual basis.

Thank you very much for your information.
I think it's logical to suppose that it would be reasonable to use condensate water.
At this time I think to use it in the calculation.
Thanks again.
