I am working on a residential project under NC-v4. The project is a residential hall with 1bd, 2bd, 3bd, and some 4bd suites. The project utilizes natural ventilation during the spring and fall, but has mechanical ventilation and conditioning during the summer and winter. I have a couple questions I'm hoping to resolve:
- Is it possible to combine suites in the Min IAQ Calculator similar to combined suites in the energy model (e.g. one zone per facade with the same occupancy)?
- Can the zone names be from the energy model, or does the credit require zone names that match the floor plan?
- Would only one calculator be needed for this to show mechanical ventilation requirements? Or would a separate one for natural ventilation needed?
