Hi. I´m doing a energy simulation with Energy Plus. Energy Plus shows differents results about Unmet Load Hours: 1. Time setpoint not met 2. Time not comfortable Based on Simple ASHRAE 55-2004 I understand that "Time not comfortable Based on Simple ASHRAE 55-2004" is similar to Unmet Load Hours of ASHRAE. But the results shows for this are: a) Discomfort hrs (summer clothing) b) Discomfort hrs (winter clothing) c) Discomfort hrs (all clothing) What results are compared to 300 hours of Unmet Load Hours??? I think that only option c) is compared. Thanks

The 300 hours is compared to time setpoint not met. This is just to check that your energy savings aren't as a result of systems being undersized in the model. You can have discomfort even when the setpoint is met.
