I don't have a copy of this to hand but need to know the content of Tables 18-2 to 18-4. Am I required to purchase a copy of this book in order to determine the appropriate base ratios, or are the tables available elsewhere?

Hi Susannah,
I believe you will need to purchase the handbook, I have not seen this information available elsewhere.

Thanks Kimberly.
Wondering if anyone is able to provide me with details of what is required as per the "Transportation Planning Handbook Table 18-2 to 18-4"? We are undertaking a pre-assessment for a project with a view to deciding whether to pursue LEED certification so I would rather not have to buy the handbook at this early stage just to determine whether we are likely to achieve this credit.
Many thanks.

Hi Susannah,
Actually you can find the content of Tables 18-2 to 18-4 on pages 115 to 117 of the LEED v4 reference guide.

I compared the ITE tables 18-2 and 14-2 to the base ratio tables in the reference guide but the parking requirements are different! Which one is the correct one to use? Thanks

Hi Rita,
I would take back my above statement and recommend using the base ratio tables in the Reference Guide, because the credit language references the base ratio tables within the Reference Guide specifically in Step 2 of their Step-by-Step guidance.
