The LEED manual states that transients = visitors.
The credit requirements are percentages based on peak visitors.
Appendix 2 in the manual gives defaults on transients (visitors).
Are these default values average or peak visitors? If they are average, how do I calculate/where do I find peak visitors?

Hi Sara,
I have always understood the transients listed in the Appendix to be a daily average reference. For peak, I'd start with how many residential unit you have, then make some assumptions about "high traffic times." For example, there might be more visitors on a weekend night or dinner time than during the day. Maybe make a reasonable assumption on how many units would have visitors during those times (50%? 60%?) Are there similar projects you have worked on that you can use as a starting place?
