Dear All,
As we know that the total water demand of irrigation do impact the Water storage Tank sizing, Plant sizing and Network sizing. The LEED calculator do provide the end rusult with let say 33% (Lets consider 100 m3/day baseline & 67 m3/day after 33% reduction) reduction from the base line. Now which value we should use for our irrigation design to follow i.e. 100 0r 67 m3/day. Actually our project designer is using the baseline value, which i believe is wrong, as this way we are not benefiting from the LEED reduction in total water demand and consequently the system size. Kindly assist.

Hi Tariq,
Yes, agree with you. The achievement of LEED should be beneficial to the project in term of design and cost.
You shall use the 67 m3/day for the design (the value after get reduction 33%).
In addition, if you may want to put some buffer volume for the tank provision, it is also acceptable.
