We are renovating an existing building, providing a large footprint of new construction, and have designated the LEED boundary for our project to include all site that has been disturbed or modified. However, there is a large extent of land outside the LEED boundary that is existing and untouched. SSc5.1 calculates 'total site area,' which through definition refers to 'property area', and is defined as 'the total area within the legal property boundaries of a site.' Our question is if we need to include the total site area as all the property within the property line, or as all the property within our LEED boundary. Thanks for any help.
