Hello, We're pursuing Option 1. Nonroof and roof. Questions: 1. Is a top level of multi storey parking garage exempt from Option 1 calculations if it has parking spaces? Or should it be included into the calculations as "nonroof"? 2. If it does have to be included, should it be SRI-compliant? LEED v3 says that "if the top level of a parking garage is not covered, it is not considered a roof and is not subject to requirement of having an SRI of at least 29". I wonder if this aligns with LEED v4 Option 1 requirements?
