Hi Folks - sorry for the late notice, but I just heard about this two days ago and needed to get confirmation that I could share the request with htis group.
The opportunity is for business leaders in energy, efficiency, construction and design (i.e. all of us!) -
As you know, the flow of the historic federal infrastructure and stimulus dollars is beginning to flow and it's critical that state and local decision-makers hear from you about prioritizing some of the most impactful uses of these resources -- including commercial and residential projects that advance opportunities in efficiency, health, equity, and workforce development.
Ceres is organizing a national effort to align support and our voice as industry experts and direct market actors can have a huge impact.
To facilitate company engagement on this issue, a group of folks have organized a business sign-on letter that urges investment of available funding to support climate-, energy-, and equity-aligned projects and priorities. Please use this form to add your firm as a signatory no later than Friday, May 6th. For additional information, please reference the background memo here.
In particular they are targeting Governors and key staff in the following states: California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington (additional states may be added to this list).
Thanks to you all and feel free to share with other orgs like ASHRAE or State AIA components, etc.
