CS-2009 SSc7.2: Heat Island Effect—Roof
We are working project C&S the client need to use white colour ceramic tile on roof top.Should need to test it ? and value has to be more than 78 for the flat roof ?

We don't know the SRI value of some roofing materials we are using. What should we do?
Do balconies and terraces need to be counted towards the roof square footage?
How does one calculate the square footage of a pitched roof?

Hi Magda,
yes you will Need a test Report or a documentation from the manufacture that the SRI is 78 or higher. Product tests will be done by SGS or eurofins.
