Thermal Comfort Web or Mobile App

Hi - I'm wondering if you have recommendations for a web/mobile app for occupants to self-assess comfort at regular intervals. I've downloaded comfy, but it wants to actually DO something about thermal discomfort by alerting discomfort and connecting, I believe, to the BMS. We just want to collect information at this point. And since I'm a GenXer, I want (expect, actually) it to be free.

Thanks!

Kjell, Kieran Timberlake has an app called ROAST. My office has been using it for a few weeks now and it's pretty interesting. I think there are limitations but we're able to view where people are in the office and note whether they are cold, hot, stuffy, breezy. At the moment we're not doing anything but collecting the data. Because it's KT the graphics are nice, and the interface is good. I don't actually know if we're still part of the Beta or if it's open to all yet, but you could send them an email.  https://kierantimberlake.com/post/view/461/tech-preview-roast

We have an app that works on iPhone and iPad called IECE or Indoor Enviromental Comfort Evaluation. It’s free Kjell but does require a few handheld meters. Check it out! Lois Sent from my iPhone Lois Vitt Sale, FAIA, LEED Fellow Senior Vice President Chief Sustainability Officer Wight & Company On

Kjell, Shoot me an email at rbates@kierantimberlake.com and we'll see what we can do. We are well into the beta with Roast, but depending upon your schedule we might be able to work something out.  I'm also interested in the IECE software but nothing seems to match on google. Is there a link?

Roderick, For the IECE app, since it’s not available for Android devices, it doesn’t appear in Google searches. You have to search for it in the Apple App Store on an Apple device. Let us know your thoughts when you have had a chance to look at it. * Emily Fro
