Hello,
I'm working in the simulation of a building which has many HVAC zones defined so that should be modeled each ones as a separated thermical block but the zones of proposed building complies the exceptions a,b and c of table G3.1.7. that allows the combination of many zones with similar caracteristics into one.
The proposed building has been modeled joining many zones but the baseline one has been modeled considering each zone as a thermal zone as it's indicated in table G3.1.7 Baseline Building Performance: "same as proposed design". What it happens is that proposed building and baseline building are modeled with different zones but both are complying with table G3.1.7 requirements.
It's that correct? or we should combine the zones in baseline building to have the same number as proposed building?
Thanks

Table G3.1-7 Baseline indicates that the baseline must be identical to the proposed. "Same as the proposed design" means modeled identically in both cases. It does not mean that the proposed model should be exactly the same as the proposed design.
