Pilot-Credits EApc111:Alternative Performance Rating Method

Is there a benefit/penalty with regard to points earned by using this method compared to a 2010 PRM comparison?

Has anyone found that they earned more or less points by using the 2016 PRM comparison rather than a 2010 PRM comparison? Is there any research or reference that I can show my client that they will/won't be risking losing points by using this method? I would much rather use 90.1-2016 PRM comparison for LEED since I can also use it for code compliance but stakeholders a skeptical that using a newer version of 90.1 will net them the same pts.
