I don't think the hand signed strategy will work. The initials must be signed on the credit form in the box indicated and I imagine your points won’t register correctly without the box initialed. One thing you could do is walk the contractor through the process over the phone and tell them which links to press and where to sign. We have needed to do this with English speaking contractors too.
