Hi, We have a building with 80% of the terrace area is used as some seating place and also some sheet roof is planning to provide on that area. Do we need to consider this area as exposed roof area? Can we show compliance by providing SRI Coating on top the roof? Also do we need to consider this area as a separate floor?
Someone please help

It sounds to me like you are describing an outdoor seating area that is partially covered? If so, the roof/canopy material covering an outdoor seating area that is not included in the project gross square footage would be considered an "architectural structure" and would be subject to the SRI requirements for SSc7.1, Heat Island Effect Non-Roof. I am not sure what you mean by a need to consider this area as a separate floor - please elaborate.

The seating area is on the terrace of the building. This sheeted roof covers the RCC roof of the building. So can we comply for this credit?

The sheeted roof material square footage should be included in Heat Island Effect Non-Roof as it is covering area not included in project gross square footage.
