Even if pursuing Option 2 Temporary Irrigation, we've always had to comply with Option 1 reductions also. The points were additive. There was an explicit note on the forms to that effect and the tables remained on the form even with the Option 2 radio button selected.
On the new v6 form, once you select Option 2, all indications of reduction calculations go away. So can you now achieve Option 2, without insuring that installed irrigation systems though temporary, can reduce potable water use by 50%?

FYI, I queried this issue with a feedback form to the USGBC. Despite the LEEDuser note above about temporary irrigation and still having to calculate water reduction and the language in the reference manual that you need to achieve Option 1 to achieve Option 2 with temporary irrigation and the previous note on the credit forms that said you did, the response I just received says "Temporary irrigation that will be removed within 18 months has never been judged so there was no reason for it to be completed in the form. This is a form improvement."
