NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performance

Table 6.8.1 for air cooled liquid chillers

Greetings, In the project we are modeling, on the plant level there are selected Air cooled chilled water chillers, which are also arranged to operate as Heat Pump water heating package (using the title of AHRI 550/590). In the Standard 90.1 there is a table 6.8.1.C, which covers the chiled water or cooling mode of operation's COP. The question is: what value should we refer to when looking for compliance with the project's COP for heating mode? Thanks.

Some of these types of systems are not covered by any of the 6.8.1 tables. If it is not covered then there is no minimum efficiency required.
