EBOM-v4.1 EQp1:Minimum Indoor Air Quality

Systems Unable to Meet Required Outdoor Airflow Rates

I have a question,  compare to LEED v4 EBOM, in the new version 4.1, the case 2 of this credit is removed. That mean in this version 4.1, all occupiable room/space must be comply with ASHRAE 62.1-2016. Is it right?

Because, if it is right, our project must be add new ventilation equipment to comply Standard without reach to the minimum setpoint in case 1 and not less than 5l/s of outdoor air per person.

Otherwise, our project is a office building so this addtional is difficult for owner because of physical constraints of the existing ventilation system.

Hi Dang, That's right, the total building area must equal the ventilated area shown in the calculator. The only exception is large spaces that are accessible only for equipment retreival suh as mechanical rooms or inactive storage. If your predominant building use is "office" you may use one single row in the "single zone system" tab, with Ez=1.
