I don't know what happened in the discussion "System fan power - Baseline". I can't post anymore...
In my software, I give as an input the baseline design supply fan airflow rate. Then, it calculates, based on the formulas of section G3.1.2.9, the "input kW". Then, based on this value, it searches the efficiency from Table 10.8 and calculates the eletric power to fan motor.
In your opinion, when you said "For LEED the reviewer will ideally want to see the kW of the baseline fans", you refered to eletric power to fan motor?

The final calculation of fan power energy in kW including the motor efficiency, yes. Make sure that you double check the software to ensure that it is doing the baseline fan power calculations correctly. There is a spreadsheet we created that accurately does the baseline fan power calculations in the Documentation Toolkit tab above.
