Hi, Greetings! I am doing Energy Model for Labor Accommodation. I have some doubts and need your help, Baseline system will be system 2 as per ASHRAE 90.1.2007. Since, the project is matching with residential category. For Baseline Model, Fan power requirement is 0.3 W/cfm. Further, Our software needs the following inputs for fan power. 1. Power (i.e. fan power) 2. Temperature Rise 3. Motor Efficiency Whether this 0.3w/cfm is including efficiency of the motor or without efficiency. How to calculate temperature Rise & efficiency manually & do u have any spreadsheet. Please Thanks......

See G3.1.2.9, there is no motor efficiency in the calculation. Not sure what you mean by temperature rise. G3.1.2.8 covers the delta T required if that is what you are looking for. There is a fan power calculator in the documentation toolkit above.

I think he is referring to the heat rise across the fan not the delta T for airflow sizing. Most software will calculate the heat rise based on the power and efficiencies.
