Are Sustainable Minds Transparency Reports acceptable as EPDs yet? I would like to use plumbing fixtures in my count of 20 products, but because the standard EPD framework does not work for plumbing fixtures, NSF has done a 3rd party verification as a Sustainable Minds Transparency Report.

Not that I know of. Last I'd heard, it didn't sound like they were being considered. Have you heard differently?

Toto has products that they claim can contribute to this MR: BPD&O - EPDs credit and is publishing their Sustainable Minds Transparency Reports as such.

Thanks, Kerry! I looked into this further and have confirmation from USGBC. SM transparency reports count as a manufacturer-declared LCA and therefore 1/4 of a product.
