Before i forget, here is the checklist I mentioned yesterday that got such a positive response in our office - again it came about after i was asked (for the Nth time) to write a sustainability description for a concept proposal/ RFP that I was not a part of and frankly didn't have a lot going for it. So it's framed as "you don't have to, but these are claims we'd *like to make* about our projects [subtext: to be recognized], and a cheat sheet for how your schematic design can demonstrate them." Looking back I realized how much it has grown and evolved since its first draft to be quite lengthy and comprehensive...Anyway, would love to hear any comments or other frameworks that have worked well in your firms.
I'm also attaching our "START HERE" project planning guide, which i'm equally proud of but gets used way less because there's no natural point in the process for this to take place. This document has a lot of live links, many of which are private. But if you see something you'd like me to share, i'd probably be happy to do so.
