Just like many of you, our firm is dedicated to increasing representation in the professions and through its relationship to the AIA Large Firm Round Table was able to access a National Organization of Minority Architects Fellow this summer. We’re loving our work with Himesh thus far, but it’s unclear whether we have the workload to be the right long-term fit for him right now or not.
In conversation with Himesh, he’s interested in becoming a project manager for LEED and other third-party certifications and I'm confident he'll succeed - in our time with us thus far I've had him working on carbon sequestration calculations and WBLCA. He's picked up both rapidly and with relatively little direction from me. I have no doubt he'd similarly jump into project team support on third-party certifications and rock the role.
