Supporting Materials Focused Organizations / mindful MATERIALS / HPDC

Hello Colleagues,

You all know our industry’s progress over the past decade related to the impact of materials. We have come a long way. Today we have over 110 firms that have signed onto the A&D Materials Pledge, pledging to a holistic approach to materials considering: Human Health, Climate Health, Ecosystem Health, Social Health + Equity, Circular Economy. Many of us have been fortunate to contribute to the development of the organizations and tools that build our capacity to optimize material selection.

So here’s the point of this message, these organizations need your continued support to advance our shared objectives. In particular the Health Product Declaration Collaborative and/or mindful MATERIALS are seeking your membership or sponsorship. Information can be found here for HPDC Membership and here for mindful Materials.

Please consider offering your support, and thanks to those already doing so. Now might be a good time to contribute, or to build this into the 2022 budget, or both. Feel free to reach out to one of us with any further questions. Or, you can contact the HPDC Executive Director, Wendy Vittori, and/or Mindful Materials Executive Director, Annie Bevan.

The work that these organizations do directly helps us to design and build better spaces and better buildings. Consider this an investment in your own practice.
