We are in the process of working with our ops people to figure out billability targets for my team. Something that may be useful is the firm survey that BG conducts before each retreat (See attached image). These are great, but it varies depending on which firms attend the retreat. Its also hard to tell (in some cases) which green dot is connected with which blue dot - which would be useful to know. Also - some blue dots dont seem to have corresponding green dots - which tells me they are either missing or superimposed. Would be good to know.
This is not intended as a criticism - I love these surveys, and sometimes they are my best tool for making headway within my organization. Wondering if we could:
- Create survey for the entire online group - so we get results not just from the 40 odd firm that attend. That way when we repeat it every year, we can actually see a trend versus what may be a result of who was surveyed.
- Have a way to connect the dots for each firm. Its easier in the part of the chart where there is only one firm reporting.
- Create key insights from the data (Happy to help with this).
