NC-2009 PIf4:Schedule and Overview Documents

Submitted drawings

I have a general question regarding submitted drawings. We are at 100% DD's and wanted to create the documentation for the sustainable sites criteria. We could create a site plan to show how we meet the necessary requirements for open space, preferred parking, bike spaces. We also wanted to submit a plan showing we meet the prereq. for recycling. I am not sure yet, but I think we will do a split review and submit these during the design review (which will probably be before we finish CD's). Do I have to ever update these plans at any point to match the 100% CD plans if the calculated areas don't change? Also, 2nd question...I assume the drawings submitted for the overview documents would be at the 100% CD level?

We usually submit the design phase credits with 100% CD drawings. In many of the design phase credits, especially Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems and the energy model, decisions may not be very complete until CDs are far along, so it's hard to do a good design phase submital at 100% DD. You may have to make a lot more changes and updates that take more time in the end. There's nothing wrong with using DD drawings for the credits you mentioned as long as you verify the final design is consistent across all the credits and drawings when you submit. It just never seems to happen that way!
