Pablo, I think this should be a good strategy, but there are no guarantees. I would recommend submitting it in the Design phase and seeing if it gets approved.

Hi,
We are working in CS project. Although the project includes several levels Property intent is to rent the whole building to a single tenant.
How we have to proceed regarding this ID strategy?.
We are going to include a meter for irrigation according with ID strategy.
Do you have any advice?.
Thanks in advance

Hi Belén,
For a CS project this ID credit should be achievable without too much involvement from the future tenant/s. Ensure a whole building water meter is in place at the end of construction that has the capabilities of monitoring and recording water use data that can be complied into monthly and annual summaries. To be safe it would be good to include something in the tenant lease agreement or tenant requirements, on how to operate and take readings from the whole building water meter and submeter so future tenants can utilize the water meters provided for the building. GBCI will want to ensure the water meters are being used by tenants to analyze their water usage and identify opportunities for water use reduction.
If possible, I would follow the advice given above, and submit this credit during the design phase, so GBCI can review and provide comments on the ID credit approach.
Hope that helps!

Than Kimberly.
We are working in another C&S project in which there won't be tenant meters for the restrooms as they are included in core scope. Each tenant will have connection for future layout (Kitchenettes). These connections will include meters.
Water consumption will be charged to tenants according with leased surface plus additional consumptions from kichenettes.
We are also going to control some process comsuption.
Do you consider posible to achieve this ID strategy on these basis?.
Best Regards

Hello Raisa Mendes,
Have you attempted the ID credit by installing individual water submeters for each tenant?
Thank you!
