In PR prerequisite it is required that 5 materials have been identified for diversion. If for the credit only 4 steams have been used would this discrepancy cause a problem towards compliance with the credit requirements of Option 1 Path 2 (75% diversion in four streams)?

Charalampos - I see where this might cause confusion but the prerequisite does not require any specific performance threshold for the required 5 materials that must be targeted for diversion. The bottom line is that every project has to do the prerequisite and outline 5 materials regardless of how much of each is diverted.
In Option 1, Path 2 of the credit, you have to have least 4 streams. There's nothing to say you can't have more.

Michelle, literally there is a contradiction between the prerequisite (identifying 5 materials) and the credit (having only 4 streams). That said I was only worried whether credit compliance (showing 4 streams only) might impact on prerequisite compliance.

It's not a contradiction that I see. All projects have to outline 5 material streams in the prerequisite to divert and report on. Your construction waste management plan has to reflect this.
If you want credit for the diversion, you have to divert at least 50%/3 streams minimum or 75%/4 streams minimum following Option 1.

Michelle, what I mean with contradiction is that for the prerequisite we have to Identify at least five construction or demolition material streams for diversion from landfill. At the same time for the credit (Option 1, Path 2) we need to divert at least 75% of the total construction and demolition material but this has to include at least four material streams, which is 1 stream less that the 5 identified in the prerequisite.
This difference (5 versus 4 streams) would not be a problem if the five material streams identified for the prerequisite are theoretical and no proof of performance during the construction process is required. In any other case, the credit compliance would require 5 streams as well.
In addition, I realize that the description in the prerequisite is “establish waste diversion goals by identifying at least five materials targeted for diversion” and not “material streams” which is used for the credit. In that case, I reckon that materials identified for the prerequisite may be part of the same stream used for the credit. For example, paper and cardboard may count for 2 different materials for the prerequisite whereas those 2 materials may count as 1 material stream for the credit if they are sourced together.
