Storm Water Quantity and Quality in Washington DC

Hi,

Background:

We are building a Olympic pool in an National Park Service site in Washington DC, ZIP 20024. Because the deepest area of pool is lower than local water-table; a USD$250K Dewatering system is being implemented via 80 perimeter wells to collect and discharge groundwater into DC Sewage System (MS4).

The Discharge flow is being treated as per DOEE requirements and has been permitted under close weekly testing and monitoring of their Target Analyses List index by DC SWQS (District of Columbia Surface Water Quality Standards based on EPA 40CFR 136 method to dissolve metals such as Iron, Mercury Nickel and Arsenic.

All permits and documentation are in place and available upon request.

The Question:

1: We respectfully ask to submit and apply under ID category for 1 additional point.

2: Since this Strategy affects Volume and Quality, but the Regional Credits only calls for Quantity, shall we apply under SSc6.1 or 6.2?

I would be quick to respond to any additional that you may request,

Best,

Rodrigo, sounds like an interesting project. If you want to apply for Innovation points, you need to do that directly through GBCI. This is an independent website for supporting LEED users.
