For store rooms, electrical rooms and IT rooms which are unoccupied spaces and relatively small (around 10 m2); required Fresh Air as per Table 6-1 of ASHRAE 62.1 2007 is less than 10 l/s. Can these rooms be exempt from IEQp1 due to small amount of FA?
I have checked (v2009_IEQ Space Matrix_April 2015) but it's not clear to me.
Thanks

Because they are not regularly occupied spaces, you are allowed to exclude them. See the definition below:
occupiable space: an enclosed space intended for human activities, excluding those spaces intended primarily for other purposes, such as storage rooms and equipment rooms, that are only occupied occasionally and for short periods of time.

Thanks Andrew. But in this case, why does Minimum IAQ Performance Calculator have Storage rooms, Elevator machine rooms and Electrical equipment rooms under (Occupancy Category) column?

Because there are cases when those types of rooms are occupied.
