Pilot-Credits PC14:Walkable Streets

SSpc14 - Walkable project site

I have a project in Miami that meets all the criteria of the SSpc14 credit, however I have a question to define the following requirement - "When a Façade extends along a sidewalk – no more than 50’ can be blank (without doors and windows)." Is the 50' limitation considered cumulative along an elevation (adding all individual lengths between doors and windows), or does it refer to a continuous length of facade 50' without interruption, with no doors or windows? All Facades of my project have no greater than 14' between doors and windows, however one facade exceeds 50' if I add up all the individual segments. Please advise if the 50' is a single segment or cumulative.

I had the same question. I assumed that the 50' limitation was per blank segment, not cumulative. Did you receive a response back?

Yes Monica - I received a reply. The 50' distance is not cumulative...only uninterrupted 50' lengths are considered here.

Thanks Robert - that's helpful clarification.
