Question regarding the Rainwater Management Credit (SSc1) under EBOM v4.1. Can you install a cistern that collects building runoff but doesn't use this water as grey water and instead releases captured water through the drainage system at a slow rate?

Hi Alexis - I don't believe this meets the requirements. USGBC wants projects to reuse or infiltrate water onsite, so releasing it into the stormwater system doesn't contribute to earning the credit.
